About the event
Join Hollie Sky & Joanna Bardol for the first of four seasonal retreats centred on the health and education of mind, body and soul. Using both the ancient teachings of Yoga and the newer science of wellbeing, you can learn how to bring balance through movement (asana), breathwork (pranayama), meditation, diet, music and deep connection with the land.
Did you know that the seasons have a role to play in how we feel? This is because the balance of elements change in each season, and this affects our own elemental ratio. Becoming aware of this change, and learning simple techniques to counter-balance that change, can deeply impact our mental and physical wellbeing. On our first retreat we worked with the season of winter. This second Retreat we will discuss how we feel in the Spring, how it effects us, and how we can implement some simple techniques to shift awareness, thinking and feeling. Included on the day will be teachings around the elements and digestion. Healthy snacks and meals that bring balance in Spring time. An Earth walk to better connect us to the land. Movement, breathwork and dance to release emotions, trauma or anything that is not serving us and meditation/relaxation to integrate and sooth the nervous system and mind.
This will give you: A better understanding of why you sometimes feel the way you do during the different seasons. Some practical ways to shift your inner world. A calm and relaxed body.
